Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-03
This policy explains what personal data ViGen Studio handles, why, and the choices you have. ViGen Studio is in active development and not yet publicly available, so today the only personal data we collect is what you give us when you join the waitlist. The sections below also describe how the product itself will handle your data once it is available, so you know what to expect.
Who we are
ViGen Studio is a product of Pwn & Pixel, the trading name of Ali Elasfoury, a sole trader registered in Belgium, trading as Pwn & Pixel (enterprise/VAT no. BE 1030.378.045), Chemin des Bouleaux 171, 5377 Somme-Leuze, Belgium. For any privacy question, contact contact@vigen.studio. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What ViGen Studio does
ViGen Studio is an AI video studio. Inside one project you write or import a script, then generate images, voiceover, and video, and edit and render a finished video. Generation runs on third-party AI models operated by Google and ElevenLabs (see “Who we share data with” below).
The waitlist (what we collect today)
When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit, and basic technical metadata sent by your browser (such as your user-agent string) to help us prevent abuse. We use this only to record your interest and to email you when access opens. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us. Waitlist data is stored on our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) and kept until ViGen Studio launches or you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Product data (when you use the studio)
Once ViGen Studio is available and you create an account, we will additionally process:
- Account details — an account identifier, and the email address and name provided by your sign-in provider, to create and secure your account (contract). Kept until you delete your account.
- Project content — the scripts, prompts, reference images, audio, and video in your projects, plus the generated results, so you can create, edit, and access your work (contract). Kept until you delete the project or your account.
- Team and collaboration data — organizations, workspaces, project membership, roles, invitations, and an activity log, to let teams work together with clear permissions (contract and our legitimate interest in a secure, auditable service).
- Subscription status — if and when paid plans are introduced, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor and we will never receive your full card details.
- Diagnostics — limited, pseudonymous logs to keep the service stable and secure (legitimate interest).
AI processing of your content
To generate and edit your results, we send the relevant content to Google (Vertex AI — Veo for video, Imagen for images, and Gemini for scripts and scene planning) and to ElevenLabs (voiceover and sound effects). No human at ViGen Studio reviews your project content as part of normal processing. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell your content or personal data.
Faces and people in your content
Some content you create may contain a person’s face. When it does, the image or video — including any face visible in it — is processed only to produce the result you requested. ViGen Studio does not scan for or detect faces to identify you, and does not create, store, or share a faceprint, face template, or any other biometric identifier. Faces are treated as ordinary image content, are never used to train AI models or sold, and are deleted on the same schedule as the rest of your project. You are responsible for having the rights and consent needed for any real person you depict.
Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us run ViGen Studio, under contract and only as needed:
- Google Cloud (Vertex AI and storage) — AI generation (Veo, Imagen, Gemini) and processing.
- ElevenLabs — voiceover and sound-effects generation.
- Cloudflare — hosting for this website and the waitlist.
- Resend — sending the waitlist notification and account emails.
- Sign-in providers (such as Google) — authenticating your account, when you create one.
We do not sell your data or use it to track you across other companies’ apps for advertising.
International transfers
We use EU data residency where we can. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
This marketing website uses only what is strictly necessary to function and does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we later add optional analytics, we will ask for your consent first and describe the controls here.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@vigen.studio. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Children
ViGen Studio is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and role-based permissions for team projects.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice by a reasonable means.
